The title lays it out without much room for argument: freedom gets earned through blood, sweat, and sacrifice from people willing to defend it, full stop. That idea sits at the center of a lot of 2nd amendment shirts, since the right to defend yourself gets treated as part of the same package.
It's a longer message than most shirts bother with, but that's the point. Some ideas don't compress well into a slogan, and this one would rather spell it out.
